Privacy policy

The short version
You can use the entire comparison without an account. We keep first-party usage data (searches, outbound clicks) to run and improve the service, we use no third-party ad trackers, and we never sell personal data.
What we collect
Without an account
- Ship-to preference — a cookie storing your selected destination country so prices stay relevant.
- Search queries — logged with result counts (not linked to you) to learn which categories deserve more depth.
- Outbound clicks — when you click “View deal” we record which offer was clicked, the destination country and the referring page. This is both how the site is funded (affiliate attribution happens at the retailer) and how we learn what is useful.
- Server logs — standard technical logs (IP, user agent) retained briefly for security and debugging.
With an account
- Your email address and a salted, hashed password (scrypt — we cannot read your password).
- Your price alerts (product, target price, destination) and the emails we send when they trigger.
What we don’t do
- No selling or renting of personal data. Ever.
- No third-party advertising or cross-site tracking pixels.
- No purchase tracking: what you buy after clicking out is between you and the retailer. Affiliate networks report aggregate commission to us without your identity.

Emails
We send price-alert emails you asked for and essential account messages. No newsletters without a separate, explicit opt-in. Every alert email links to alert management.
Your rights
You can access, correct, export, or delete your account data at any time — the account page covers alerts, and a deletion request to the contact address removes the account entirely. EU/UK visitors: our lawful bases are legitimate interest (running a price-comparison service) and contract (accounts and alerts). Australian visitors: we handle personal information consistently with the Australian Privacy Principles.
